Allied Avocado & Citrus operates an organically certified packing house in Fillmore, California and grows, packs, and ships organic avocados, specialty fruit and citrus. Lupe Guzman, a second-generation grower with 40 years of experience, is the owner/operator, and an amazing entrepreneur. They pack their own fruit as well as custom pack for other organic growers, but farming is their core focus.  Allied packs fruit under the label of Foothill Organics for Veritable Vegetable.

Allied’s packing facility is one of the most completely equipped houses in California, and includes two cold storage facilities with state-of-the-art cooling systems, avocado and citrus production lines, six ripening chambers, and receiving/dispatching docks.

Allied and Foothill Organics grow in several regions of California providing ideal conditions for different fruit varieties and year-round supply. The coastal regions of California are well suited for avocados, the Central Valley for lemons, and San Diego county for grapefruit, for example.
