Gabriel Farm is a 14-acre farm located in Sonoma county. The farm has been owned and stewarded by Lucy & Torrey Olson since 2000. Lucy has been farming organically in Sebastopol for the past 25 years and was trained in organic farming at the U.C. Santa Cruz Center for Agroecology & Sustainable Food Systems (CASFS). Torrey is a farmer, math educator and itinerant philosopher.

Gabriel Farm grows nine acres of Asian pears, two acres of certified organic apples, and various other organic crops including: persimmons, raspberries, pluots, tomatoes, pineapple guavas, blackberries, lavender, pumpkins and winter squash. The farm also offers school and group tours and a robust U-Pick Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) program.

Gabriel Farm has spent the last several seasons treating fire blight on their pear trees, which required temporarily removing them from the organic program. Veritable Vegetable has had a long-standing relationship with Gabriel Farm and is proud to be partnering with them as they work on returning their trees to the organic program.
