Maple Valley Cooperative a was founded in 1991 by Cecil Wright and two good friends. A lifelong maple farmer himself, Cecil also worked at Organic Valley for 18 years before shifting Maple Valley’s business structure into a cooperative in 2007. Maple Valley is the only all-organic maple syrup cooperative based in the United States, with 30+ farmer members tapping trees in Wisconsin, Minnesota, Michigan, Ohio, New York, and Vermont. They produce 100% pure and organically produced maple products that are free of additives and preservatives, and are also kosher, vegan and gluten-free!

Maple Valley’s mission is to produce the finest organic maple syrup products with fair and sustainable methods, while respecting their farmers, customers, vendors, employees, the environment, and their communities. They believe in family-scale farming, fair wages for producers and employees, transparency, accountability, and overall business sustainability.

The energy used at their main office and bottling facility in Cashton, Wisconsin, is offset through a partnership with the community wind project. Their products are also packaged in both glass and BPA-free recyclable plastic.
