Rodoni Farms is a third-generation organic farm that spans over 100 acres in Santa Cruz, California.

The farm was started by Dante Rodoni in 1935, an Italian immigrant with a love for farming Brussels sprouts. Dante was fascinated with agricultural innovation and was one of the first to identify the need for mechanization of sorting and grading Brussels sprouts. He developed the Rodoni Brussels Sprouts Stripper, which mechanically cuts sprouts from the stalk. Dante was always at the forefront of change and proved to be one of the great innovators of the Brussels sprouts industry.

When he retired in 1974, Dante turned everything over to his family, who still runs the farm today. Over the past 20 years, the family diversified the variety of crops grown, transitioned more ground to organic, and started their own organic label ‘La Nostra Costa.’

The Rodoni family also manages a large pumpkin patch, with a 5-acre corn maze, as well as the Rodoni Farm Fresh Produce farm stand. They pride themselves on being an integral part of the local food system, serving local restaurants and farmers markets in the Santa Cruz area.
