Stueve Organic provides the highest quality, pasture-raised, fertile eggs from hens living in healthy, humane conditions. Their chickens roam on native pastures that have never been sprayed with pesticides or chemicals. Stueve Organic uses mobile chicken coops, manually moving them every other day so chickens have a fresh area for feed (grass, weeds, clover, fly larva, grubs and other insects).
Hens are typically outside grazing from sun up to sun down except for the hours spent laying eggs in their nesting boxes. The hens’ diet is supplemented with a high-quality organic feed from a local custom grain mill. Eggs are hand collected and sorted three times per day guaranteeing their ability to grade uniform, clean, grade AA eggs. The nutritional benefits of pasture-raised, fertile eggs include:
