Ferrari Farms is a 500-acre, family-owned and operated farm, specializing in the finest, certified organically grown fruits and nuts. They are located in the heart of California in the San Joaquin Valley with rich, deep soils, where warm days are cooled by evening delta breezes.

Wayne and his father, George, started farming together back in 1963, and it’s been a family operation ever since. Today, sons Jeff and Greg run the ranch and take great pride in what they grow. Extremely adaptable, their crop mix has changed over the years. In addition to fruit and nuts, Ferrari Farms originally offered mixed vegetables and row crops including onions, broccoli, and garlic. As market demands and weather patterns changed, they focused on a wide variety of cherries, peaches, and nectarines for many years.

One thing that has never changed is their deep commitment to organic farming. Ferrari Farms was certified by CCOF (California Certified Organic Farmers) in 1982. They are one of the early pioneers in the organic trade growing produce organically long before it became fashionable.

That commitment shapes every step of how they grow. They feed the soil with compost, avoid plowing whenever possible and welcome beneficial insects and natural predators like owls. Ferrari has also invested heavily in renewable resources: the packing shed and irrigation pump are solar powered!

Grows:

Walnut, Cherry, Apple, Stonefruit
