Fruit World was started in 2017  by CJ Buxman and Bianca Kaprielian, third- and fourth-generation family farmers. The duo grew up in  the same town in the San Joaquin Valley, both on multigenerational fruit farms. Both were committed to carrying on their family legacy of sustainable farming practices and good stewardship of the land. Fruit World markets and sells the produce that their families grow, as well as a few other growers in the region.

Today, Fruit World is owned and operated solely by Bianca while CJ focuses on his family’s farming operation, Sunny Cal Farms. Bianca’s strong background in produce buying, after having worked with major grocery retailers and organic wholesalers – including Veritable Vegetable– has resulted in an incredibly successful organic citrus, grape and stone fruit program! Fruit World also supplies persimmons, pomegranates, and tomatoes and is one of the few suppliers of the highly coveted Thomcord grape and Muscat grapes!
