Montecucco
Canby, OregonMontecucco Farms is currently run by Brian and Jason Montecucco, fourth-generation family farmers. The 500-acre farm is located in Canby, Oregon, right off the Willamette River.
The Montecucco family’s history in farming goes back to their Italian roots, but started in Oregon in 1926, growing fresh vegetables for the city market. The farm grows rhubarb, beans, beets, parsnips, rutabagas, and turnips. Red beets are their most abundant crop, with other colored beet varieties, such as yellow and candy stripe, expanding from their niche. We are always delighted by the Montecucco’s attention to quality; their extraordinary parsnips are eagerly awaited every season.
