Wild River Fruit, a 3rd generation farm based in Marysville, California, is owned and operated by the Noland family. Founded by Gordon Noland over fifty years ago, the farm was named after the nearby Yuba River, which flows out of the Sierra Nevada Mountains and into the Sacramento Valley. The Yuba River, whose yearly overflow enriches the topsoil, enables Wild River Fruit to grow and harvest the highest-quality produce. A perfect mid-size farm, Wild River is always innovating and pack all their own fruit for quality control.

The Noland family takes a sustainable approach to stewarding their land and has always believed in the virtues of organic farming. Their 300-acres of orchards have been certified organic since 1991. Their efforts to actively foster biodiversity and integrated pest management go above and beyond certification requirements, and include composting and manual weed management. For example, Wild River places bird boxes near the field to attract wild barn owls that helps keep pests away from the kiwifruit vineyards.
